One of the most incredible job experiences I’ve ever had was climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro with a crew of NFL players and veterans. Chris Long’s organization, Waterboys, works to dig wells for clean water in Tanzania, and this climb was a fundraising mission to support that cause. A highlight of the journey was witnessing Jason Kelce sing a the top of his oxygen depleted lungs, “Total Eclipse of the Heart” backed by a choir of NFL linemen… on Day 3, halfway up the mountain. In this video, Chris sits down with one of the climbers, O-Line legend Haloti Ngata, to hear about his motivations for joining the climb and the pivotal decision he made at the summit.
